We have been approved to receive new “at-risk children,” and we ask for your prayers that we would be led to the specific children God intends for us to care for. Thank you for standing with us in this important process.
In Honduras, social services require that we first identify the children in need. Once a child is identified, a government social worker must complete the appropriate evaluations and formally approve the placement with our home.
We are expecting to welcome several new children in the very near future and are praying for wisdom, guidance, and favor throughout every step of the process.
Sponsor a scholarship student
With a single donation of $250 in January and a second donation of $250 in June, a child or youth who is unable to attend school is able to have their full academic year fully covered.
This support provides far more than basic materials—it helps remove one of the greatest barriers to education for many families. Each student receives school supplies, uniforms, shoes, gym clothes, and tennis shoes, along with other required educational materials throughout the year. For families living in poverty, these costs are often impossible to afford, which means children would otherwise be forced to stay home instead of attending school.
By meeting these practical needs, we are not only helping a child enter the classroom, but also giving them the dignity, consistency, and opportunity that education provides. It opens the door for long-term hope, stability, and the possibility of a different future.

To help protect our graduates from the risk of being recruited into local street gangs, we provide them with the opportunity to continue their education through public colleges or trade schools. This next step is critical in helping them build stability, purpose, and long-term direction after completing their time with us.
By continuing their studies, these young men and women are able to develop practical skills, pursue careers, and envision a future beyond the limitations of poverty and vulnerability in their communities. Education not only equips them for employment, but also strengthens their confidence and gives them a healthy environment of growth and mentorship during a pivotal stage of life.

As we care for children who have often experienced trauma, instability, and deep loss, professional emotional and psychological support is essential for their healing and long-term well-being.
Having a dedicated specialist on staff would allow us to provide consistent assessments, ongoing counseling, and structured developmental support tailored to each child’s needs. This investment would strengthen every aspect of our program, helping children not only to survive difficult circumstances, but to truly heal, grow, and thrive.
