New Life Transition Program

When Social Services shared the sobering statistic that 95% of youth aging out of children’s homes end up in street gangs, we made a firm decision: “God help us, not on our watch.”

In response, we have taken intentional steps to change that trajectory—providing safe housing, nutritious food, transportation, school supplies, and most importantly, a quality, Christ-centered education for our youth.

But our commitment doesn’t end at high school graduation.

You have the opportunity to be part of their future. By supporting our graduates, you can help open the door for them to pursue a university degree or trade school training—equipping them with the skills, purpose, and hope they need to build a different life.

Together, we can rewrite their story!

World Changers, History Makers, and Pace Setters

Our college-age young men and women are continuing to move forward with purpose…either enrolled in the local university in Talanga, Honduras, or participating in vocational training programs that equip them with practical skills for the workforce. Each step they take represents a victory and a breaking away from the limitations of their past.

Looking ahead, our long-term vision is to build a vocational training facility right on our campus. This would allow our children to transition seamlessly from primary and secondary education into hands-on career training without ever leaving the safety and support of New Life.

As the Lord leads, we also prayerfully dream of establishing a missionary training center—raising up future leaders who will carry the Gospel forward and continue the work of the Great Commission.

We are already seeing the fruit of your investment—several of our graduates are now employed in meaningful jobs, while others are faithfully continuing their studies and moving toward completion. Each of these young men and women is stepping into a future that once seemed out of reach, breaking cycles of poverty and building lives marked by stability, purpose, and hope.

Making Disciples

Some of our college students continue to live on campus while attending their classes online, allowing them to remain in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment as they transition into adulthood. During this season, they stay actively connected to the ministry—serving in their off days working on the farm, helping in the school, or assisting with various daily responsibilities. Their primary focus is devoted to their academic studies, requiring focus, diligence, and personal discipline.

This model not only makes their continued education possible, but also reinforces the values we strive to instill in them: responsibility, stewardship, perseverance, and a heart to serve. They are learning to balance work and study, to manage their time well, and to take ownership of their future.

Most importantly, they are growing in confidence and purpose—equipped not just with education, but with character and faith that will sustain them for a lifetime.

A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruit will be good. MATT 12:33 NLT

Fruit That Remains-A Legacy of Love

Some of our grown children are now married and raising families of their own—a powerful testimony to lives transformed. Your investment in New Life is not only impacting one generation, but is creating a lasting, multi-generational legacy throughout the nation of Honduras.

Once rescued from cycles of poverty and abuse, they are now walking in the fullness of their God-given purpose and building a different future for their own children.

It is a joy we deeply treasure when they return to visit—when “the kids come home”—bringing with them stories of growth, faith, and the continuing impact of what God has done in their lives.
