Farm Projects are important at New Life to train the youth and make provision for New Life Children’s Home’s needs

In our region—and throughout much of Honduras—raising cattle is one of the primary ways families generate income. We have found it to be the most sustainable and effective agricultural approach for us as well.

Over the years, we have primarily focused on raising young bulls and selling them as oxen or for beef, which has helped support the ministry. Currently, we are working to develop a stronger herd that will allow us to produce our own bulls and heifers, helping us become more self-sustaining in the future.

At present, we are limited to about a dozen animals due to pasture space and the need to keep the herd close to the property for protection from cattle rustlers. Even with these limitations, we continue to steward this resource carefully as part of the broader sustainability of New Life.
