Teams Are The Life-Blood of New Life Children’s Home
New Life Partners are essential for the growth and expansion of the ministry and outreaches. We encourage regular Partners to engage in ‘one-on-one’ relationships with their assigned child and their family. This type of friendship and mentoring can mark the life of a child for eternity. We encourage team members to share individually with the children their testimony and faith-walk in Christ.
Teams - Help in our school
Give our teachers nuggets for teaching the kids, tutor them, do a teachers retreat, encourage them in many ways. One of our team was able to sponsor a teachers retreat in a beautiful mountain venue and it truly blessed them.
Teams-Touch the lives of the kids
There are many ways to minister to the youth and children, during classes or on special days, at night for some, etc. A team sponsored a trip to a water-park for the kids and staff to have a really great time. These events are real highlights for New Life.
Construction Projects
Teams - Many things do not get done until a team comes and can help us with the hands on and with the budget to do these things. Much is still needing teams to come get us over the finish line in each project.
Feeding brigades
For an additional amount to purchase food we can have a heartwarming welcome to give the needy families a package of food and pray for their felt needs.
Medical Brigades
When a team has nurses or doctors we can organize a medical brigade in a community nearby to minister to the physical health needs of the people and have an opportunity to pray with each one.
Due to government scrutiny we must purchase the medical supplies in Honduras through a local Dr. friend. This has made it smooth for acquiring medicines and with the participation of the local Drs we can reach the medical needs of many people.
