The Founders

Jim and Georgia Lamont

In 1995, the Lamonts arrived in Honduras after retiring from a successful business career to start New Life. They spent many years developing the almost 30 acres of beautiful farmland nestled in the pine filled mountains, building houses, starting a school and caring for 35 little ones. When Jim was 81, they turned it over to their daughter and son-in-law.

Directors

Ron and Annette Thiesen

In 2011, the Thiesens moved to Honduras from Peru, took the reigns and continued to care for the children, adding another 16 needy children. The school was reenforced with Christian curriculum and extra branches of ministry were opened, including college students and extern scholarship children from five low income villages in the area.
