New Life Families

This is a ministry of reconciliation. Our focus is to help the parents and families of New Life Children’s Home children to reconcile and strengthen relationships. We believe that reaching needy and dysfunctional families in their own homes will also help to reach others.

NEW LIFE FAMILIES
Here is how this works:families-1

  1. Discover families that need help, mainly the fatherless and widows.
  2. Investigate their living conditions, evaluating their reality and needs.
  3. Develop a plan to upgrade their lifestyle in the following three areas:
  • Spiritual Life – Introduce them to the Lord, motivate them to hope and faith in the possibility to be reconciled to their children. Invite them to events at the home near their children and train them in needed areas. Train mothers and fathers to be godly parents.
  • Home Situation – Evaluate with them the requirements for an adequate home life and location for the possible recuperation of their children. Together with social services, evaluate their home for adequate facilities, security and provision for these parents.
  • Plan for Sustenance – Develop with them a plan to help provide the economy needed for their family.

FAMILY REINTEGRATION
It is the philosophy of Honduras social services and ours to help the families of children that are reuniting with extended family in ways that can create services that will improve their lifestyle. Of greater importance is the opportunity to reach out to them with the hope of JESUS!
